For those of you who missed the auction on March 19, take a look at the promotional video for our new innovation lab. Our goal is to open and christen our new lab in September 2016. The mission of the lab includes helping all students reach their God-given potential by identifying new innovations that make a meaningful difference in the lives of others. The tools of the lab will include a 3D printer and software that helps design and test new innovations.
Stay tuned for exciting developments!

Congratulations to Olivia and Megan...and to our NCHS Art Teacher, Mrs. Walker. This makes four consecutive years that NCHS has had a Grand Prize winner in this contest. We are proud of our Art department and the students who excel in this talent. There were numerous stellar bookmarks submitted from our Art students.
These bookmarks will be available in the office as soon as they are received by the organization.
Snow, ice, rain, sunshine, clouds and fog are all possible in Washington state...perhaps in the same day!
In the event of unsafe conditions for school operations, a notice for a late start or closure will be placed on this page of our website as early as final word is received. An email will be sent to parents if electricity and carriers cooperate.
You may listen to MIXX 96 FM, KMAS 1030 AM, KGY 1240 AM or tune into KOMO 4, KING 5, or KIRO 7 TV for school closures. You may also click on the KOMO or KIRO link in the right hand column to be directed to the appropriate website.Since we do not operate a bus route, we do not always follow the decision of schools in our immediate area. We will do our best to keep you informed of late starts or closures throughout the winter season. Stay tuned...

The Concurrent Credit Program is a partnership between NNU and participating high schools, offering the opportunity for qualifying high school students to begin college while still enrolled in high school. Courses are offered in the high school classrooms during the regular school day, and are taught by high school teachers who have been approved by NNU departments to teach the courses for NNU credit as adjunct instructors.
The Concurrent Credit Program serves high schools in Idaho, Montana, Oregon, and Washington.
Courses offered through the Concurrent Credit Program are the same as those taught to freshmen and sophomores on the NNU campus. However, the partnership with the high school allows for a significant college tuition discount.
NCHS has four teachers who are approved by NNU as adjunct professors in offering the following courses:
Art 2 - Mrs. Walker
Biology - Mr. Scott Hollis
Communication/Public Speaking - Mr. Burdick
Spanish 3 & 4
- Mrs. Wilson

"Developing Christian Leaders" is more than a slogan at Northwest Christian High School, it's what we do. It is the mission of NCHS to assist the family by providing a Christ-centered, Bible-based education that inspires each student to pursue excellence in moral character, academics, and servant leadership.
