The Washington State Association for Justice offers two distinct scholarship programs for high school seniors

The first is the American Justice Essay Scholarship, which echoes WSAJ's commitment to fostering awareness and a strong understanding of the civil justice system.

The second program is the President's Scholarship, which is awarded to high achievers who are commited to helping those in need, and who have been victims of injury or who have overcome a disability or handicap.

TwinStar Credit Union Scholarship

This is a higher education scholarship for TwinStar Credit Union members who are currently seniors in high school. The applicant must be a member in good standing with TwinStar Credit Union, complete and return the application no later than March 31, 2012, and provide a copy of their high school transcript along with the application.

Sound Credit Union Scholarship

Sound Credit Union will award several scholarships of $1,000 each to the class of 2012.

To be eligible for consideration, applicants must...

  • Complete and return application by April 17, 2012
  • Be a primary member of Sound or Watermark Credit Union by February 17, 2012
  • Be a senior attending a Washington state high school
  • Maintain a 3.0 GPA through senior year of high school
  • Be a student in good standing

The Fort Lewis Family Member Scholarship Fund

 

Providing scholarships to family members of Fort Lewis service members for over twenty years.

Did you know…?
** The Fort Lewis Family Member Scholarship Fund has been in existence for more than twenty years
** The Fort Lewis Family Member Scholarship is open to family members of active duty Soldiers, retirees and surviving family members
** In recent years, the Fort Lewis Family Member Scholarship Fund has awarded over $32,000 per year
** Applicants are judged on a variety of criteria in areas including academics, leadership, volunteerism, and essay response é The Fort Lewis Family Member Scholarship is funded entirely from charitable donations of private organizations and local business.
** The Fort Lewis Scholarship fund is part of the Combined Federal Campaign. Please consider giving to CFC #44805.

Riggs Scholarship Application Now Available for High School Seniors

A high school senior that plans to attend one of the 17 undergraduate Assemblies of God endorsed colleges or universities (www.colleges.ag.org) may be eligible to apply for a Ralph Riggs Scholarship. This scholarship fund is made available by the Assemblies of God Trust in partnership with The Alliance for Assemblies of God Higher Education.

GE-Reagan Foundation Scholarship Program

Exceptional student leaders are invited to apply for the 2012 GE-Reagan Foundation Scholarship Program. In honor of the legacy and character of President Ronald Reagan, this program annually rewards up to 20 college-bound students who demonstrate exemplary leadership, drive, integrity, and citizenship with $10,000 renewable scholarships (up to $40,000 per recipient).

Applications for the GE-Reagan Foundation Scholarship Program will be accepted online until February 17, 2012.

The Milton G. Wright Scholarship awards thousands of dollars each year to students through TG events and special promotions on TG's Adventures In Education website. Starting in November 2011, TG will allow students to enter online to receive one of twelve (12) monthly $500 scholarship awards. Register now for a monthly drawing to help with college expenses.

North Thurston Kiwanis Club Scholarship

North Thurston Kiwanis Club is offering two scholarships to Lacey area schools.

Scholarship Eligibility:

Applicant must be a 2012 graduate of North Thurston, Timberline, River Ridge, South Sound, or Northwest Christian High School.
GPA of 3.0 or higher.
​Applicant must be active in community service.
Preference will be given to a community service club member (i.e. KEY Club, Interact, National Honor Society), but all candidates will be judged on their merits.

The BigSun Organization is proud to be able to continue to help young athletes succeed in their academic pursuits. We are offering an annual scholarship to a deserving student. All student athletes are eligible for this award, regardless of which sport they are participating in.

The successful applicant will be a high school senior or be attending a post secondary institute and currently involved in some sport at that institution or in the community.
